{"id":2099,"date":"2025-04-28T07:58:43","date_gmt":"2025-04-28T07:58:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grenoblechurch.org\/?page_id=2099"},"modified":"2025-04-28T08:08:28","modified_gmt":"2025-04-28T08:08:28","slug":"church-electoral-roll-liste-electorale","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/grenoblechurch.org\/?page_id=2099","title":{"rendered":"Church electoral Roll (liste \u00e9lectorale)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>What is it?<\/strong><br>A list of our regular attendees who meet a few basic requirements<br>Required by Church rules to participate in our Annual General Meeting, when we elect our <strong>church leadership team <\/strong>(Wardens, Council members, Archdeaconry representatives)<br>Only used by our Electoral Roll Officer (Suzanne), not sent to anyone else<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why is it important to be on it?<\/strong><br>To show your commitment to our church and its leaders<br>To have a say in who is on its leadership team, nominate people, or stand for election yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Can you join it? <\/strong> Yes, if you:<br>Have been attending services regularly for at least 6 months<br>Are at least 18 (the form says 16, but under French law you must be 18)<br>Baptised, and a member of the Anglican church or a related church.<br><br><strong>When can you join it?<\/strong><br>Up to the deadline of Sunday 4th May, two weeks before the meeting<br>What if you don\u2019t meet the requirements?<br>If you haven\u2019t been here 6 months yet, you can join it next year!<br>And even if you can\u2019t join it \u2013 or don\u2019t wish to \u2013 you are still a valued member of our congregation!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click here to get a <a href=\"https:\/\/grenoblechurch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Application-for-Electoral-Roll.pdf\">copy of the electoral roll form.<\/a> Print it, fill it in (if you meet the requirements above), bring it to church, or send scan\/photo to Suzanne.
